A leading fire engineering consultancy who work on some of the UK's most exciting and complex projects are now seeking a Bid Administrator to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. As the Bid Administrator you will be, supporting our national bid function and helping them continue to secure high-profile projects across the built environment.
The Role
As Bid Administrator, you will play a key role in the preparation and coordination of bids, ensuring documents are produced to the highest standard and deadlines are consistently met.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the bid team in producing compliant, compelling tender submissions
- Coordinating inputs from technical teams and ensuring consistency across documents
- Managing and formatting bid content, templates, and supporting materials
- Monitoring deadlines and submission portals to ensure timely delivery
- Maintaining bid libraries and supporting the continuous improvement of bid processes
About You / Bid Administrator
We're looking for someone highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with:
- Previous experience in bid administration, document control, or similar coordination roles
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to engage colleagues at all levels
- Be part of a specialist consultancy with a strong reputation for innovation and technical excellence

In Return:
Salary: £27,500

- Flexible working - 37.5 hours working week
