Role: Behaviour Specialist KS1 Location: Warrington Contract Type: Full-time Start Date: ASAP About Us: Exclusive Education is one of the North West's leading education recruitment agencies, working in partnership with Primary, Secondary, and Special Educational Needs schools.
We offer a range of teaching and support roles-long-term, short-term, and day to day-on both a full time and part time basis.
We are currently seeking to appoint a Behaviour Specialist to support Key Stage 1 pupils in Warrington.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in behaviour support or a related setting who is passionate about making a positive impact on children's development and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Provide targeted behavioural support to pupils within a KS1 classroom setting
- Implement behaviour management strategies and individual behaviour plans
- Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis to promote positive behaviour
- Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to support pupil progress
- Monitor and record behavioural progress, reporting back to staff and parents where required
- Encourage emotional regulation, social skills, and independence in pupils
- Create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment conducive to learning
- Ideally hold a relevant qualification in behaviour support, education, or child development
- desirable but not essential
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Experience working with children in the last 2 years
- in school or alternative settings such as youth work, residential care, or support work
- Experience working with pupils with ASD
- Strong behaviour management skills and experience supporting pupils with additional needs
- highly desirable
- Calm, resilient, and patient approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Two professional references relating to work with children
- A current Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
