GSL Education are recruiting a Behaviour Mentor (SEMH) for a specialist setting in Birmingham (B12). This role requires confidence, resilience and the ability to build positive, consistent relationships with students who may struggle in mainstream environments.

About the Role

You will work closely with students on a 1:1 basis, delivering targeted behaviour interventions and supporting emotional development.

Responsibilities

Deliver personalised behaviour support

Support de-escalation and emotional regulation

Build trusting relationships with vulnerable students

Monitor progress and report to staff and parents

Promote a safe, structured learning environment

Requirements

Experience with challenging behaviour is essential
