Beauty Display Merchandiser

About the role:

Beauty Retail Merchandiser based in Primark Liverpool L1 3AY. Integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, helping launch a new beauty brand into a fast-paced high street store. Responsible for driving sales by ensuring the stands are fully stocked as these brands sell fast.

Location and Hours:

Primark Liverpool. Confirmed working hours: 7 hours per week.

• Monday 06:00-09:30
• Wednesday 06:00-09:30

May work across other categories including Books and Entertainment, Toys and General Merchandising.

Responsibilities:

Work quickly and accurately to ensure that beauty stands are fully stocked for customers.

• Product Placement and Replenishment
  • Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
  • Ensure as much stock as possible is out on shelves to drive sales.
  • Monitor stock levels and order products to avoid shortages.
• Beauty Knowledge
  • Become an expert on health and beauty, including brands, products and trends.
• Compliance and Standards
  • Know and adhere to merchandising standards, store policies and procedures, and health and safety guidance.
  • Follow and implement planograms where provided to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup
  • Set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts and special offers.
• Strong communication and relationship building
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
  • Provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams via feedback application, serving as the eyes and ears in the store.

Qualifications:

• Work at pace, ensuring stands are filled quickly and accurately.
• Experience in merchandising or retail.
• Ability to take ownership of own work within set time frames, using initiative to find solutions.
• Commitment to delivering high standards and service for clients.
• Comfortable with manual handling; move and arrange products from warehouse to shopfloor.
• Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions.
