Beach Cleaner

Seasonal Beach Cleaning Operative

Salary: £14.16 per hour plus Veolia benefits. Hours: 48 hours per week, 6 out of 7 days, 06:30-15:00. Location: Ross Depot, Military Road, Folkestone, Kent CT20 3SP. Contract: Temporary from 29.06.26 to 30.09.26.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean public areas including cleansing of streets, beaches and the promenade using the equipment provided.
• Remove all litter including debris, occasionally animal and human waste, and bagged waste from the beaches.
• Provide and maintain a clean, tidy, litter free environment within the local area.
• Liaise with street cleansing crews to collect any bagged waste, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation during the busy summer period.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in a similar environment; full training will be provided.
• Experience working independently and as part of a team.
• Open minded and flexible approach to working during the busy summer period.
