Job Description

Veterinary Surgeon

Cambridge Salary up to £60,000 Visa Sponsorship Available Flexible Working Options

GVC are delighted to be assisting a thriving small animal practice in Cambridge with an exciting new opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their talented and supportive team.

This is a 7-Vet practice with an impressive skill mix, including Certificate holders in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, and another currently studying towards a Certificate in Ultrasonography. The team also offers acupuncture, physiotherapy, and BOAS surgery, ensuring you will be working alongside colleagues with advanced knowledge and diverse expertise.

The nursing team is equally outstanding, with qualifications in consulting, anaesthesia, emergency & critical care, and even a qualified physiotherapist. Their dedication to continuous development creates a collaborative, learning-focused environment where both clinical standards and patient care are of the highest quality.

The Role

The practice is open to applications from both experienced Vets and recent graduates, although at least 1 year's experience in small animal practice is preferred. You should be confident with routine consults and surgery - although a consult-only position would also be considered for the right candidate.
