The role:
We are seeking a Business Development (BD) Advisor to support the execution of BD and marketing strategies that drive client relationships and revenue growth across our global Technology, Media, Telecommunications and Intellectual Property (TMTIP) practice. This includes work in tech, digital regulation, commercial contracting, intellectual property, telecoms, and digital infrastructure-spanning advisory, transactional and contentious matters.
You will be a main point of contact for global TMTIP BD and marketing needs. You'll work closely with lawyers and BD colleagues across our international network, as well as with our Clients and Sectors teams, to ensure alignment with firm-wide strategies. Your remit will include delivering high-quality pitches, BD and marketing content, webinars, in-person events, directory submissions, blog posts and more.
You'll play a key role in identifying cross-selling opportunities and supporting client-focused BD activity through the use of insights and data-led intelligence.
Your key responsibilities:
Act as a key point of contact for TMTIP lawyers and others seeking BD and marketing support.
Deliver tailored BD and marketing content and coordinate physical and online events aligned to TMTIP opportunities.
Support the development and implementation of global BD plans and client targeting strategies.
Facilitate cross-selling and contribute to go-to-market campaigns that engage priority clients.
Create compelling pitch and panel submissions and support win strategies.
Use marketing technology and data tools to generate targeted insights.
Collaborate across global BD teams to ensure local offices are connected to the wider strategy.
Align with global processes and make best use of shared services and tools.
What we're looking for:
Experience supporting BD and marketing activity within TMTIP or related sectors is highly desirable.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality pitches and coordinate impactful events.
Strong communication and persuasive writing skills.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
A self-starter with a desire to learn and contribute to a high-performing global team.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and communicate proactively.
Experience in legal or professional services BD is helpful but not essential-transferable skills are very welcome.
