Coolock Children's Disability Network Team
This is an exciting opportunity for a basic grade Social Worker to support children and their families presenting with complex needs arising from a combination of intellectual, physical and/or sensory disabilities. The Social Worker is a valuable member of the Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT), working as part of a multi disciplinary team. A Social Work Team Leader, Senior Practitioner and Basic Grade posts comprise each CDNT. Opportunities for training and regular clinical supervision are provided. This temporary post is assigned to the Coolock CDNT; staff will see children in the CDNT offices at Coolock Primary Care Centre on Cromcastle Road and also at home and in preschool/school.
The successful candidate must have the following:
- Degree or Masters in Social Work or equivalent
- National Qualification in Social Work (NQSW)
- Full registration with CORU
- Commitment to the delivery of high quality, person centred, community based services
- Excellent communication, time management skills and the ability to work independently
- Full clean driver's licence and access to a car
- Experience working in children's disability services
- Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Salary scale: €50,621 - €73,080 LSI
- Those with no prior public sector experience will be placed at point 1 of the pay scale
