Banking Operations Employee

We are seeking a Banking Operations Employee to support a client in the financial services sector during a major back-end transformation. As internal staff are being reallocated to train on the new platform, the client is hiring freelance consultants to ensure the smooth running of daily operational banking processes.


The role involves managing end-to-end operational activities including payments, reconciliations, client onboarding, and handling incoming client requests and tickets.

The selected consultant will work alongside internal operations teams to ensure continuity, quality, and compliance across all banking operations.


Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day banking operations including payment validation, reconciliations, and transaction monitoring
  • Process and validate new client onboarding applications (KYC, documentation checks, data validation)
  • Manage client account lifecycle administration: onboarding, maintenance, and closure
  • Handle client enquiries and operational tickets in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure adherence to internal procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and data entry in relevant banking systems
  • Support operations during large-scale platform deployments and process transitions


Profile

  • 3+ years experience in a banking operational environment
  • Familiarity with client onboarding and account lifecycle processes
  • Autonomous, reliable, precise, and quick to learn new processes
  • English speaking, working knowledge of French or Dutch
