Applicants are invited to join our Administration Team supporting The Podiatry and Foot Health Service on a bank contract. The role involves providing high standard administrative support to ensure effective referral pathways and appointment procedures for patients and assisting the Podiatry clinical teams.
The post holder will be responsible for receiving a high volume of telephone calls, arranging and rescheduling patient appointments, processing new referrals, producing the relevant paperwork for clinical staff and providing IT and RIO related queries support as necessary. The role also includes distributing and placing stock orders for clinic locations across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin.

Qualifications and skills- Excellent administrative and time management skills.
- Highly computer literate with experience of NHS RIO electronic patient records, Summary Care Record & Oracle (advantage).
- Good interpersonal and customer care experience.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Understanding of confidentiality requirements.
- Flexibility to meet changing service needs.
- RSA II or equivalent experience (e.g. ECDL).
- Good standard of education (e.g. GCSE level or equivalent).
- Demonstrable general customer care experience.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.
- Understanding of confidentiality.
- Flexibility to meet changing service needs.
