Bank Assistant Chef - Casual

Contract Type: Casual

Shift Pattern: 07:00 am to 03:00 pm

Salary: £13.18 per hour

We are looking for Bank Assistant Chefs to support our catering teams across Telford, Shrewsbury, Oswestry, Wombourne, Cannock, Whitchurch, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stafford.

The catering teams deliver a range of breakfast and lunch options 7 days a week, 365 days a year, between the hours of 7 am to 3 pm.

What you will be doing
  • Delivering quality food and beverage options to a range of customers with varying needs.
  • Ensuring all health and safety legislation is adhered to and the kitchen and café have high standards of cleanliness.
  • Assisting the Chef Manager in effectively managing the catering service.
  • Supporting the Chef Manager in providing a varied menu that supports the dietary requirements of our residents.
  • Having a friendly approach towards visitors and residents.
  • Monitoring the kitchen area to ensure sanitation standards are maintained.
About you
  • You have the ability to create great food that is well presented, full of flavour, balanced and nutritional.
  • You have experience ordering supplies and carrying out stock takes.
  • You embrace processes and procedures while adding creativity.
  • You are open to new ideas and think outside the box.
