An opportunity has arisen for a Group Financial Controller, who will be responsible for producing the annual accounts and overseeing the monthly financial information, as required, to support the Group's internal financial reporting requirements.
The post holder will be required to provide overall supervision and guidance to the General Ledger, Financial Accounts, Treasury function and ensure the integrity of the capital accounting processes working with leads for each team.
Main duties of the jobWe work on a hybrid model with a blend of office based on site, and remote working. Office based days will be at our newly refurbished offices at Regent Court, which is accessible via public transport, a few minutes from Five Ways station. Remote home working will be supported for up to 2 days per week.

Person Specification Qualifications- CCAB recognised accountancy qualification
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
- Experience of monthly reporting cycles and population of month end reports
- Experience of working with other finance colleagues to ensure monthly tasks are completed within tight deadlines
- Experience post qualification in a strategic finance leadership role within a complex organisation
- Experience of working with computerised financial systems
- Experience of working within a senior management team
- Experience leading team including objective setting, performance reviews and performance management
- Experience of implementing change
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders with conflicting priorities
- IT literate spreadsheets, databases, pivot tables ECDL or equivalent
- Experience of completing reporting to NHSE
- Experience of Fair Pay calculations
- Experience of Greenbury reporting
- Ability to analyse highly complex data, diagnose problems, identify solutions and undertake business case benefits analysis
- Use own initiative while knowing when to consult.
- Logical thinker with sound analytical skills, able to deal with large volumes of complex data and perform highly complex analysis of financial data.
