About the role:
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 8a Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Singleton. In this role, you will provide expert pharmaceutical advice to clinical teams, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
You will deliver expert pharmaceutical advice to clinical teams. You will ensure the safe, effective, and economical use of medicines. You will participate in multidisciplinary team meetings. You will support and educate healthcare staff on pharmaceutical matters. You will contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines.
Requirements
- Experience/Knowledge:
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Master's degree in pharmacy (MPharm).
- Significant experience in a clinical pharmacy setting.
- Previous NHS hospital experience is essential.
- Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge.
