Job Title:Band 8A Clinical Psychologist
Grade:Band 8A
Location:Ashford, Kent
Working Hours:7.5 hours per week, split over 2 days
Rate:Competitive - details to be discussed upon application
We are seeking a highly skilled Band 8A Clinical Psychologist to join a private client in Ashford, Kent. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions for individuals with neurological conditions
- Deliver evidence-based therapy for patients with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and effective care
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual needs
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation
Qualifications & Experience
- HCPC registration (essential)
- Experience working in neuropsychology settings
- Proven expertise in managing patients with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
- Strong assessment, formulation, and therapeutic skills
- Previous experience in a Band 8A Clinical Psychology role
