Job Description

Job Title: Band 7 Paediatric Dietitian - Team Lead
Department: Therapies
Specialty: Paediatrics
Start Date: 31st March 2025
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Contract Type: Locum / Fixed-term
Rate: Competitive Band 7 - hourly rate (£34 per hour umbrella equivalent)
On-site Requirement: Fully onsite - no remote work available
Ref: GDKT4

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical leadership of the paediatric dietetic service

Independent management of a varied and complex paediatric caseload

Supervision and support of junior dietitians and students

Active participation in MDTs and clinical audits

Ensuring service delivery aligns with national paediatric nutrition guidelines and hospital policy

Requirements:

HCPC registered Dietitian with specialist experience in paediatrics

Previous NHS experience at Band 6 or 7 level

Demonstrated leadership or team coordination experience preferred

Excellent communication and service development skills

Ability to work independently and onsite full-time GDKT4
