Rate: £34.00 P/H

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Advanced Practice Mammographer to join our team in London. This ongoing role offers a competitive pay rate of £37.00 per hour, with working hours from 08:45 am to 17:00 pm. The position is available for an immediate start and provides an excellent opportunity for a seasoned mammographer to deliver advanced breast imaging services in a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Band 7 Advanced Practice Mammographer, you will be responsible for performing a range of complex mammographic examinations, including advanced screening, diagnostic, and interventional procedures. You will operate state-of-the-art mammography equipment, ensure patient comfort and safety, and provide accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning. Your role will also involve supervising junior staff, contributing to service development, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with the HCPC.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Mammography is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mammographer, ideally at Band 7 level.
  • Proficiency in using advanced mammography equipment and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and breast imaging protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Commitment to providing high standards of patient care and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Extensive experience in Mammography, both screening and symptomatic.
  • Significant experience in assisting with interventional procedures.
