About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Band 6 Nuclear Medicine Radiographer to join a dedicated imaging team in Carshalton on an ongoing locum basis. This full-time opportunity offers competitive hourly pay and the chance to further develop your expertise within a supportive clinical environment.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality nuclear medicine imaging services to both adult and paediatric patients. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate diagnostics and safe, effective patient care.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Practice
Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging for adult and paediatric patients
Administer radiopharmaceuticals in line with departmental protocols
Undertake cannulation confidently and safely
Ensure patient safety, comfort and dignity at all times
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with radiologists, clinicians and wider multidisciplinary teams
Contribute to discussions regarding imaging findings and patient management
Provide clear information and reassurance to patients and families
Governance & Compliance
Adhere to radiation protection regulations and health and safety standards
Maintain accurate records and imaging documentation in line with departmental policies
Support quality assurance and continuous service improvement initiatives
HCPC registration as a Radiographer
Post-registration experience within Nuclear Medicine
Competency in cannulation
Knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory requirements
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Full UK driving licence
Competitive hourly rate up to £30 per hour
