Rate: £25-28 per hour

Duration: Initially 3 months (with potential for extension until permanent roles are filled)
Working Hours: Full-time or part-time considered
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Paediatric Audiologist to join a dynamic team in London. This role requires expertise in working with children, including performing diagnostic audiology assessments and fitting hearing aids. The position is available immediately and will initially last for 3 months, with the possibility of extension until permanent Band 6 and 7 roles are filled. Both full-time and part-time candidates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
As a Paediatric Audiologist, you will be responsible for conducting a range of diagnostic audiology assessments for children, including Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA), fitting hearing aids, and providing ongoing care and support. You will work closely with children and their families to assess and manage hearing impairments, ensuring that each patient receives the best possible care and support. You will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, as well as document and monitor progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- HCPC Registration as an Audiologist
- Experience in paediatric audiology
- Proficiency in Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA)
- Ability to work with children and their families to manage hearing loss
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience fitting hearing aids and managing paediatric cases
