Job Description

Job Title: High-Risk Podiatrist
Banding: Band 6
Location: Bristol
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £23 - £27 per hour
Duration: 6 months

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High-Risk Podiatrist to join our esteemed client in Bristol. This role involves providing specialist podiatric care to patients with complex foot and lower limb conditions, including those at risk of ulceration, infection, and amputation. Your expertise will be essential in delivering high-quality assessments, developing individualised treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with NHS protocols and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

As a High-Risk Podiatrist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive foot assessments, managing high-risk caseloads, and implementing preventative and therapeutic interventions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including vascular specialists, diabetes teams, and wound care professionals, to provide holistic patient care. Additionally, you will maintain detailed patient records, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and safeguarding policies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • HCPC registration (essential).
  • Degree in Podiatry or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in high-risk podiatry, including managing vascular and diabetic foot conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
