Rate: £24 - £27 per hour
Duration: 4 months
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audiologist to join our esteemed client in Stevenage. This role involves providing specialist audiology services, including ENT clinic support, routine assessments, hearing aid fitting, and REM verification. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing and managing hearing conditions, ensuring optimal patient care, and maintaining high standards of audiological practice.
Key Responsibilities
As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for conducting routine assessments and diagnoses, fitting and verifying hearing aids, and performing repair and maintenance of audiological devices. You will work with Phonak Bolero and older aid ranges, ensuring patients receive the best possible hearing solutions. Additionally, you will manage postal repairs and lost aid processing, provide general department administration support, and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and best practices. Knowledge of Auditbase, Unity, Affinity systems, and Lorenzo would be advantageous for this role.
Qualifications & Experience
- HCPC registration (essential).
- Degree in Audiology or equivalent.
- Proven experience in adult audiology, ENT clinics, and hearing aid fitting.
- Expertise in REM verification, repair, and maintenance.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
