We have an opportunity for a Band 3 Administrator to join our friendly and supportive Staff Seasonal Vaccination team.
You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Trust's Staff Seasonal Vaccination Programme by managing vaccination data, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the smooth operational running of the campaign. Core hours are typically Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, with flexibility required to support service needs.
Fixed Term Contract: 01 October 2026 - 27 February 2026
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Base: Watford General Hospital, with cross-site working to support roving clinics.

Main duties of the jobYou will be responsible for the accurate collection, entry and management of staff vaccination data, ensuring all records are maintained securely and in line with confidentiality requirements.
- Data entry and validation across multiple systems.
- Collecting, collating and scanning vaccination records.
- Monitoring data quality, identifying trends and resolving discrepancies.
- Producing regular updates and reports on vaccination uptake.
- Managing inbox queries and supporting communication with peer vaccinators.
- Providing administrative support to the vaccination campaign.
Further responsibilities include working autonomously, producing daily reports on vaccination uptake, highlighting risks or issues, and supporting effective communication across teams.
Qualifications and ExperienceEducation and qualifications:
- Expert in Excel.
- Proficient in other Microsoft Office programmes.
- Ability to use and navigate data management systems.
- Maintain personal competencies and professional development.
Knowledge:
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Awareness of Equality and Valuing Diversity principles.
- Awareness of confidentiality and Data Protection Act.
Experience:
- Good analytical skills and punctuality.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to prioritise and organise workload.
