Baker (Temporary)

Temporary Contract for approx 3 months

We are looking for a skilled and creative Baker with strong baking and patisserie expertise to join our team. This is a hands-on role requiring finesse, precision, and a commitment to excellence in both flavour and presentation.

• Support the team with creative input and development across the business
• Assist in research, testing, and costing of new products, including scaling recipes for production
• Work closely with the Production Team to maintain consistency, quality, and brand standards
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, excellent hygiene, and strict food safety compliance
• Produce a wide range of breads, viennoiserie, pastries, and patisserie items to the highest standard
• Organise weekly schedules efficiently, using clear communication to keep the team aligned
• Bring fresh ideas and awareness of evolving baking and pastry trends
• Be available for early-morning starts - reliable transport is essential due to shift times

• A genuine passion for baking and patisserie, with creativity, finesse, and flair
• Proven experience leading or supervising a pastry or bakery section/team
• Strong technical baking skills, including dough handling, fermentation, lamination, and finishing
• Excellent hygiene standards and a thorough understanding of food safety regulations
• Strong communication skills and organisational ability
• Good understanding of recipe production, costing, and GP
• At least one years experience as a Baker in a quality bakery, restaurant, or hotel
