Job Description

Build reliable, secure, and observable back-end services powering customer/colleague experiences and AI features.

6 month contract

hybrid

Core skills
  • Security: OAuth2/OIDC, secrets management, secure coding.
  • CI/CD and containerisation: Docker; deploy to AWS and/or PCF on-prem.
Responsibilities
  • Data modelling, migrations, performance tuning, resilient integrations.
  • Observability (metrics/logs/traces), SLOs.
Nice-to-have
  • Experience with the DWS parent and NatWest platform standards is a strong plus.
  • Experience working within NatWest engineering standards and governance.
  • Ability to deliver microservices in Python when needed (FastAPI/Django).
