Azure Data & Power BI Platform Engineer
In this role you join an international IT platform team focused on building and maintaining the Power BI Premium environment. You will collaborate closely with many teams, making sure the Power BI envoirement is ready for them to use.
What you will do:
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and keep sprint and product backlogs well-maintained.
• Contribute ideas to improve the platform lifecycle, ways of working, and processes related to the Power BI Premium environment.
• Take part in design discussions and help create technical solution outlines.
• Support work in adjacent areas such as ServiceNow automation and Informatica IDMC.
• Engage with stakeholders, gather requirements for future enhancements, provide support, and analyze upcoming needs.
• Review how teams use the platform, validate their approach, and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and stability.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement, both personally and as a team, through new technology and process innovation.

Required experience:
You have roughly 3-5 years of experience with the following:
Power BI Premium platform management
• Deep understanding of visualization best practices in Power BI, with emphasis on managing a Premium environment within a large organization.
• Strong knowledge of workspace structuring, governance, and performance optimization.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues in the Power BI ecosystem for internal users.
• Understanding of platform security, segregation of duties, and granular access control to prevent data leakage.
• Experience with Fabric capacities, including migration and ongoing management.
Azure
• Azure Data Lake Storage, Data Factory, SQL (Synapse) experience.
• Basic familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Databricks.
• Understanding of Azure security principles, RBAC/ACL, and access models.
• Experience with Azure DevOps boards and backlog management.
• Ability to create and maintain build and release pipelines, including work with variable groups.
Nice-to-have skills:
ServiceNow automation & integrations
• Experience creating flows/subflows and automated processes.
• Ability to design new form structures and metadata-driven workflows that reduce errors.
Informatica IDMC platform administration
• Experience managing enterprise IDMC environments, with functional understanding of MDM and DQ modules.
