Experienced Azure DevOps Engineer required by a leader in the Health tech space. Continuing with the scale up, a need has arisen within the cloud platform team for a talented Azure Security biased Engineer. Strong Azure, Terraform coding (a must have), AKS (Kubernetes) and Scripting required. This is fully remote (must be UK based).

Skills and Experience Required:
  • Significant commercial experience in security operations management.
  • Terraform IaC
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating security tooling.
  • Scripting
Responsibilities:
  • Lead efforts to assess the current security posture of Azure infrastructure, encompassing Azure resources, processes, vulnerability management tools, and techniques.
  • Collaborate with the wider Infosec team and any third-party consultants engaged by the client to provide recommendations based on the findings to chart the way forward.
  • Develop incident response plans and procedures tailored for Azure environments, conduct thorough security incident investigations, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to effectively mitigate security incidents.
  • Define and enforce best practices for security across development and DevOps teams, including implementing source code, container, and infrastructure scanning for vulnerabilities. Integrate security checks and tests seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Maintain an active risk registry and devise a plan to address identified issues in order of priority, ensuring proactive management of security risks.
