Azure DevOps Engineer - Contract Position - HIRING ASAP

Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6-month contract
Location/Office Time: 1 day per week in the Dublin office, 4 days working from home
Rate: €500 - €535 per day

Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Design & Management

• Build and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Azure Pipelines
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Ensure faster and reliable releases

Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Deploy and manage resources in Microsoft Azure
• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager templates or Terraform
• Monitor cost, scalability, and performance

Version Control & Collaboration

• Manage code repositories using Azure Repos or GitHub
• Implement branching strategies and code review practices
• Support team collaboration and workflow optimization

Testing & Quality Assurance Integration

• Integrate automated testing into pipelines (unit, integration, UI tests)
• Use tools like Azure Test Plans
• Ensure code quality and reduce production bugs

Monitoring & Logging

• Set up monitoring with Azure Monitor and Application Insights
• Track application performance and system health
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues

Security & Compliance

• Implement DevSecOps practices
• Manage secrets using Azure Key Vault
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards

Automation & Scripting

• Write scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Automate repetitive tasks and environment provisioning
• Improve deployment efficiency
