Freelance Opportunity: Azure DevOps Architect (Hybrid - Belgium)

Location: Brussels/Namur (Hybrid - up to 3 days remote)

Duration: Ongoing 3-year project

Workload: Full-time

A major long-term project is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure, automated DevOps solutions in a complex Azure environment.

What you'll do:

• Build and optimise end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML)

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates)

• Apply DevSecOps principles across delivery pipelines

• Integrate Azure-native services (App Services, AKS, Azure Functions)

• Lead access control, identity integration (Entra ID), and governance

• Collaborate across teams and mentor on DevOps best practices

Your skillset:

• Strong hands-on Azure DevOps experience

• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)

• Deep understanding of DevSecOps and secure CI/CD

• Skilled in Git, scripting (PowerShell/Python/Bash), and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Solid grasp of access management and cloud security frameworks

Languages: English required (French, Dutch, or German a plus)

Requirements: Must have valid Belgian residence and work permit (non-EU candidates)
