Azure Developer - 12 months - Hybrid - Netherlands

The client, a leading company in the FMCG sector, is looking for an experienced Azure Developer to support the design and development of modern cloud solutions within the Microsoft Azure environment. This role is a key contributor to ongoing digital transformation initiatives and requires strong technical expertise combined with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and application services within Microsoft Azure
* Collaborate with product owners, architects and cross functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions
* Create and maintain CI and CD pipelines that support automated deployments and Infrastructure as Code practices
* Develop reusable Terraform modules and Azure resource templates
* Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to security, governance and compliance standards
* Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues and resolve complex technical challenges
* Work with security teams to implement best practices in identity, access management and network security
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
* Stay informed about new Azure services and DevOps technologies and apply them where relevant

Profile & Requirements

• Proven experience as an Azure Developer or Cloud Engineer in an enterprise environment
• Strong knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Storage and Azure Key Vault
• Hands on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code design patterns
• Strong understanding of CI and CD concepts using platforms such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Proficiency in Scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, Python or C Sharp
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles, identity and access management and network architecture
• Experience working in a fast paced environment, ideally within the FMCG sector
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills along with the ability to work both independently and in a team
