Global - Azure Data Engineer - REMOTE Contract | German -Speaker*
One of our Customers at RED is in search of experienced Azure Data Architect to join one of their projects on a freelance basis in Germany.
Job Title: Azure Data Architect
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months - Initial contract
- Contract: Freelance
- Location: Remote (Candidate needs to be based in Germany)
- Language: German (Written & Spoken)
Education and Knowledge Requirements
Lead the design and end-to-end implementation of Azure Databricks-based advanced analytics solutions, including data architecture, ETL pipelines (PySpark/SQL), Azure service integrations, and technical leadership across data engineering teams.
Skills Required
- Strong experience with Azure Databricks including cluster management notebook development and Delta Lake
- Proficiency in big data technologiesg. Hadoop Spark and data processing frameworks eg PySpark
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes data warehousing and building data lakes
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with NoSQL databases
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices
