Job Description
Azure Cloud Security Engineer
Long term programme - Rolling 3 month contracts
Fully Remote | Europe
RED Global are supporting a large-scale cloud security programme and are seeking an experienced, hands-on Azure Cloud Security Engineer to support security, governance and compliance activities across a complex enterprise Azure environment.
Key Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Security
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud/Azure Security Center
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel
- Experience implementing and managing Azure Policy
- Strong experience with Entra ID/Azure AD, RBAC and identity security
- Good understanding of cloud security governance, GRC and compliance
- Experience implementing security controls and policies within Azure environments
- Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles
- Experience with cloud risk assessments, security frameworks and threat modelling
- Experience with Terraform/Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Ability to work closely with Cloud, DevOps and Infrastructure teams to embed security best practices
- Experience producing security, compliance and audit documentation
- Previous experience within regulated or large-scale enterprise environments beneficial
