You will design, implement and maintain advanced cloud native solutions using the latest AWS technology stack. Your cloud and infrastructure expertise will be vital to building secure, highly available, and scalable solutions that align with the insane business objectives and security standards a modern FinTech with Global impact deals with. The company is already successful and volumes are significant but the sales funnel is absolutely crazy so volumes will explode. The current Platform team consists of 4 Engineers and we are growing this to 6 asap. Later this year a B-series will be raised for exponential growth so exciting times ahead and a great time to join.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy & maintain complex infra with AWS, focus on scalability, resilience, & security. The setup is Serverless, using Lambda, Fargate and DynamoDB.
• Develop and maintain IaC for components using tools like CloudFormation
• Implement and manage deployments for optimized connectivity across multiple regions and datacenter environments at huge scale and realtime performance.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to track availability, performance and security using Prometheus, OpenSearch/Elastic, etc. OpenTL is being introduced as well.
• Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting for incidents, document solutions, and implement preventative measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud solutions are robust, well-documented, and adhere to company standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-6 years in cloud/platform/network engineering in a mission-critical environment.
• Strong understanding of core AWS services, incl. VPC, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, ECS.
• Understanding of cloud architecture and multi-region cloud design.
• infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar.
• For Scripting ideally TypeScript or Go but Python is also ok.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab, AWS CodePipeline, and Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking
• Strong communication skills, ability to document complex solutions clearly & effectively.
• Bonus: AWS networking services; CloudWAN, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53

Salary & Benefits:

The salary is competitive with the top companies in Amsterdam (top of market) and depends on what you bring to the table in terms of skills, personality and experience. An indefinite contract from the start and solid stock package are part of the package as well.
