AWS Lex Developer

Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires AWS Lex Developer to be based at their client's office in London, UK.

This is a hybrid role - you can work remotely in the UK and attend the London office 1-2 days per week.

This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start ASAP

Day rate: Competitive Market rate

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain conversational interfaces using Amazon Lex, focusing on chatbots and voicebots with natural language understanding (NLU)
• Define and implement conversation flows, intents, and dialogue management
• Deploy chatbots and voicebots integrated with AWS Lambda, Back End APIs, and other AWS services
• Perform thorough testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure stability and accuracy
• Leverage relevant Generative AI models (LLMs) for enhanced conversational capabilities
• Ensure secure and scalable integration with cloud-based components like S3, RDS, and API Gateway

Key Requirements:

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on expertise in Amazon Lex and related AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway)
• Experience deploying and integrating Generative AI models/LLMs within chatbot frameworks
• Strong programming proficiency in Java, Python, Node.js, or JavaScript
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture and serverless workflows

Desirable:

• Prior experience with Lex V2, voice interface design, or multichannel bot deployment
