Salary/Rate: €205-255 per day

Job Type: Initial 6 month contract (possibility of extension)
Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled AWS Cloud & Platform Engineering Specialist to join their team in Brussels.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
- Act as senior technical lead for cloud and platform engineering workstreams - hands-on delivery combined with technical thought leadership
- Build and manage IaaS orchestration frameworks and automation
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for platform engineering
- Drive platform modernization efforts, including database consolidation
- Contribute to cost optimization/FinOps initiatives with actionable recommendations
- Mentor engineers and set technical direction/best practices for the team
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Hands-on AWS engineering experience, with recent experience in a senior/tech lead capacity
- Strong expertise in CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, etc.)
- Experience with IaaS orchestration and automation (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
- Experience with FinOps tools/practices (Cost Explorer, CUR, third-party FinOps platforms)
- Prior experience leading technical workstreams or mentoring engineers
- Excellent communication skills - able to represent technical decisions to leadership
