AUTOMATION (CONTROL SYSTEMS) ENGINEER 6 Month Contract Opportunity with possible extension Dublin

This is an excellent opportunity to support production operations, automation projects, system upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives within a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day automation and control systems support
• Troubleshoot PLC, HMI and SCADA systems
• Deliver control system upgrades and continuous improvement projects
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions
• Manage change controls and validation activities
• Develop SOPs, specifications and technical documentation
• Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance and Quality teams

Requirements

• Qualification in Automation, Controls, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Experience supporting automated manufacturing environments
• Strong PLC, HMI and SCADA troubleshooting experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable Experience

• Pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device experience
• Siemens and/or Rockwell automation platforms
• GMP and computerised systems validation knowledge
• Industrial networking and OT systems experience
