  • Bolton Location: Bolton Rate: £92.63-£123.83 per day Contract: Long-term Temp-to-perm opportunities Start: Various start dates We're looking for experienced Autism & SEMH Support Assistants to work with pupils across Bolton in long-term school-based positions.

These opportunities could suit an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Behaviour Support Assistant or SEND professional who understands the importance of relationship, consistency and patience.

You may be supporting pupils who experience:

  • Autism Autism
  • SEMH SEMH
  • Anxiety Anxiety
  • Challenging or distressed behaviour Challenging or distressed behaviour
  • Barriers to classroom engagement Barriers to classroom engagement You'll help pupils to feel safe, settled and ready to learn.

This could involve: - 1:1 support 1:1 support

  • Small-group interventions Small-group interventions
  • Supporting transitions and routines Supporting transitions and routines
  • Helping pupils regulate their emotions Helping pupils regulate their emotions
  • Encouraging communication and independence Encouraging communication and independence
  • Supporting engagement with learning Supporting engagement with learning
