Audit Senior (Part Qualified)

The OpportunityA leading regional accountancy firm is seeking a Part-Qualified Audit Senior to join its growing audit team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a varied client portfolio while developing your technical expertise and leadership skills within a modern, forward-thinking practice.In this role, you'll take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with experienced senior stakeholders. You'll also support and mentor junior team members, playing a key part in delivering high-quality audit engagements and an excellent client experience.This position offers strong progression potential, exposure to a diverse client base, and the opportunity to work within a firm that embraces technology and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver statutory audits from planning through to completion
• Work both independently and as part of on-site audit teams
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, managing relationships and queries
• Review and support the work of junior team members, providing coaching and feedback
• Collaborate with managers and senior leadership to ensure quality delivery
• Utilise digital audit tools to improve efficiency and insight
• Contribute to process improvements and team development initiatives
• Travel to client sites across the region as required

What we're looking for

• Part-qualified ACA or ACCA with at least 2+ years' audit experience
• Confident in leading or delivering audits
• Experience working with SMEs and owner-managed businesses
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• High attention to detail and strong analytical ability
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with audit software
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Willingness to travel to client sites
