About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Audit Senior to join our growing Audit & Assurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and progressive firm.

As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for leading audit assignments from planning through to completion, managing client relationships, and supporting the development of junior team members. You'll work with a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries, providing high-quality audit and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver audit assignments for a range of clients.
  • Plan and coordinate audit engagements, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Prepare and review statutory accounts and audit working papers.
  • Identify audit risks and recommend practical solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Supervise, coach, and support junior team members.
  • Liaise with managers and partners regarding audit findings and client matters.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist) status.
  • Previous external audit experience within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
