Audit Senior

Our client, a boutique accountancy firm in Carlow, is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their growing practice. As Audit Senior, you will service a diverse client portfolio Including a number of charity and not-for-profit clients with a large annual turnover. This is a great opportunity for a qualified Audit Senior to learn and grow within a well-established practice in the south east.

Responsibilities

• Managing and delivering audits for a varied portfolio of SME and corporate clients.
• Planning and completing audit engagements in line with professional standards.
• Guiding and reviewing the work of junior team members, helping them develop their skills.
• Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide practical, value-added advice.

Requirements

• ACCA/ACA qualification (or equivalent) achieved
• Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience, ideally within charity audits and SORP auditing.
• Taxation expertise or formal qualification considered advantageous
• Demonstrated strong analytical ability with exceptional attention to detail
• Proactive approach, capable of managing budgets and consistently meeting delivery deadlines

Salary and Benefits
