The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an ambitious Audit Semi Senior to join a well-established and growing accountancy practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual currently studying towards ACA or ACCA (or recently qualified) who is looking to develop their audit career within a supportive and professional environment.

Working alongside experienced Managers and Partners, you will gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, taking responsibility for audit fieldwork and supporting the delivery of high-quality audit assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and completing audit assignments for a varied client portfolio.
• Carry out audit testing and fieldwork both on-site and remotely.
• Prepare audit files, working papers, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and financial statements.
• Identify audit issues and communicate findings to senior team members.
• Build positive relationships with clients and provide excellent service.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Support and collaborate with other members of the audit and accounts team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• At least 1-3 years' experience within an accountancy practice audit role.
• Studying towards ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
• Good understanding of audit and accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
