Our client, a well-established media company, is partnering with CPL to recruit an experienced Audience Editor to focus on ensuring editorial content reaches the right audiences at the right time and on the right platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Digital Editor to oversee and optimise digital publishing output
• Use real time and historical data to improve audience engagement and content performance
• Identify and develop new audience segments in collaboration with editorial and commercial teams
• Create and manage engaging social media content to drive traffic and growth
• Optimise evergreen content and curate section pages to maximise reach
• Conduct keyword and topic research to identify content gaps
• Monitor live article performance and adjust distribution strategies
• Produce SEO driven commercial or shopping content when required
• Deliver audience performance reporting with clear, actionable insights
• Lead or contribute to special editorial and audience growth campaigns

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years' experience in an audience, digital editorial, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of digital publishing systems and analytics tools
• Solid understanding of SEO and content optimisation
• Demonstrable knowledge of Google Discover and Top Stories
• Strong legal and ethical awareness of media law across Ireland and the UK
• Recognised journalism qualification with newsroom experience
• Farming or rural background desirable
