Job Description

The Opportunity

The Paris office is seeking both Junior and Senior Associates with a strong foundation in international arbitration. This is an outstanding opportunity for high-performing arbitration practitioners to join an elite legal team, handle high-stakes international disputes, and contribute to the firm's expanding global practice.


Key Responsibilities

Depending on seniority, your role may include:

  • Acting as a key contributor or leader on major international arbitration cases under ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, and other leading arbitral institutions.
  • Supporting or managing the drafting of legal submissions, memorials, witness statements, and procedural documents.
  • Participating in hearings and preparing cross-examinations, legal arguments, and expert presentations.
  • Liaising with clients, external experts, co-counsel, and arbitral tribunals.
  • Leading or supporting legal research, fact development, and document review exercises.
  • Contributing to business development efforts, including publications, thought leadership, and client-facing presentations.


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 2-8 years PQE in international arbitration, gained at a top-tier firm or arbitration boutique.
  • Strong academic background; LL.M. or postgraduate qualifications in international law or arbitration are preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in international commercial arbitration and/or investment treaty arbitration.
  • For senior candidates: Proven ability to lead workstreams, mentor junior lawyers, and handle client relationships.
  • Fluent in English and French (working proficiency in both is essential).
  • Additional language skills (e.g., Spanish, Arabic, German) are highly desirable.
