The ATT-CTA Programme

Upon joining, you'll work towards obtaining the ATT-CTA qualification. As an Apprentice, you'll be involved in client work within a supportive and inclusive team. Our apprentices gain experience across various industry sectors, providing a well-rounded foundation. We support your growth with a dedicated mentor and training manager throughout the programme.

You will be based in our Business Tax service line, gaining insights into organisational operations and challenges. Responsibilities will increase as you progress, with the possibility of supervising other trainees by your second year.

What does a Tax team do?

Our Tax teams manage taxation matters for individuals, businesses, and organisations. Their main role is to ensure clients comply with tax laws while optimising their tax positions to minimise liabilities legally. They play a vital role in helping clients navigate complex tax regulations and improve their financial positions within legal boundaries.

What we are looking for

• Minimum predicted 2:2 degree; no specific accountancy degree required
• Collaborative and eager to learn
• At least 2 A levels (A-C) and one other A level or equivalent
• 5 GCSEs grades A -C or 9-4 including Maths and English Language or equivalent
• Quick to absorb new information and adapt
• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to explain financial information accessibly and supportively
