Key activities / responsibilitiesHighly approachable and commercially acute, the firm's Employment and Immigration lawyers are trusted to deliver a responsive and cost-effective service around the world.
The team advises in-house lawyers, HR professionals, finance directors, managing directors and individuals.
Investing in relationships with clients and taking the time to fully understand businesses and cultures, the firm's expert employment and immigration lawyers have earned a reputation for the quality of their commercially minded and practical service.
Skills and experience - desired- A qualified solicitor with 6+ years of post-qualification experience working within the Employment department of City or International law firms.
- Solid experience in supporting transactional projects including due diligence and negotiation of transactional documents.
- Solid experience and knowledge of TUPE in both service provision and asset purchase transactions.
- Strong project management skills and ability to run the employment aspects of transactions with limited input and supervision from Partners.
- Have proven technical legal skills in corporate transactions, ideally in one or more of our relevant industry sectors.
- Strong, well-rounded HR advisory experience, able to work with minimal supervision.
- Confident in direct client engagement, including multi-party transactional calls, and skilled at building lasting client relationships.
- Proactive, positive, and hands on, with a flexible approach to delivering high-quality client service.
- Actively involved in business development, including developing a personal BD plan aligned with firm strategy.
- Ambitious, motivated, and keen to take on increasing responsibility.
- Strong team player; sector experience in transport, energy, or infrastructure is an advantage but not essential.
