Job Description

Serious Injury Associate Solicitor Southampton 2-5 PQE £50-60k

An opportunity has arisen for an Associate Serious Injury Solicitor to join a specialist claimant team based in Southampton, working on complex and high-value injury litigation.

This role sits within a dedicated serious injury practice handling a strong pipeline of catastrophic injury claims, with particular focus on traumatic brain injury matters alongside other severe injury cases. The team acts exclusively for claimants and offers excellent exposure to technically demanding work.

You'll collaborate with your colleagues on an array of matters and assist senior lawyers on more complex cases, developing your expertise in high-value litigation and long-term client relationships. The team operates as a close-knit unit, offering strong collaboration and clear progression as your experience develops.

For this Associate Serious Injury Solicitor role, you will ideally have:
  • 2-5 years' PQE in claimant personal injury or serious injury work
  • Experience handling or assisting on catastrophic or traumatic brain injury cases (severe orthopaedic injury experience also considered)
  • A claimant-focused background

The role is based in Southampton, with hybrid flexibility available for those within commutable distance.

Please note: this firm is also open to someone at Senior Associate level for this role.
