Job Description

Onsite 2/3 days in our Letterkenny office. A GLOBAL LEADING ASSET MANAGER WITH A DIVERSE & INCLUSIVE CULTURE.

What you will do

The Associate Manager will work with colleagues across the globe in the UK, United States and Japan to support our Fixed income investment teams with key information on a daily basis. Role responsibilities include:

  • Proactively identifying potential risks, preventing errors that could negatively impact portfolio performance.
  • Supporting the team in solving problems and incorporating new processes to mitigate risk.
  • Reviewing reconciliations between our internal record keeping system Aladdin and the custodian for each fund.
  • Reviewing Statement of Investments reconciliations monthly.
  • Assisting with research and resolving reconciliation discrepancies.
  • Proactively communicating issues to relevant business partners.
  • Assuming ownership for operational issues raised and providing resolution.
  • Anticipating issues that may adversely affect operational support and taking action to reduce risk.
  • Searching for ways to improve processes and leveraging tools.
  • Coaching, developing, and managing a team of direct reports, focusing on key controls and process improvements.

What you will bring
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or relevant work experience.
  • Previous experience in finance/portfolio administration/custody operations/professional services.
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
