Associate Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Associate Electrical Engineer to join a well-established multidisciplinary team based in Bournemouth.

This is a senior-level opportunity to lead project strategy, oversee technical delivery, and manage key client relationships across a range of complex building services projects along the South Coast.

You will play a central role in shaping project outcomes, driving engineering excellence, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for electrical engineering design across major projects
• Lead client engagement, including briefings, design development, and technical decision-making
• Oversee multidisciplinary coordination to deliver integrated engineering solutions
• Manage project resources, workload distribution, and risk to ensure successful delivery
• Ensure technical quality, compliance, and accuracy across all project stages
• Support commercial performance, including fee planning and forecasting
• Mentor and develop engineers, contributing to a high-performing team culture

About You

• Extensive experience delivering electrical engineering solutions across complex building sectors
• Strong proficiency in Revit, BIM, Dialux, Relux, and modern engineering tools
• Proven consultancy background with client-facing leadership experience
• Strong commercial awareness, including experience supporting project financial performance
• Ability to lead teams, set standards, and contribute to office growth and development
