Job Description

My client is a highly reputable, international consultancy who are experts in providing financial crime advice to a variety of financial services clients. The team in London is currently sitting at 10 with huge growth plans both here in the UK and across Europe over the next 3 years, so it's a really exciting time to join!

They have a key hire for an Associate Director who can hit the ground running with extensive financial crime experience within consultancy.

This is a leadership position and will have a considerable pipeline of work and give the candidate a great opportunity to work closely with the Director and Partner in building and shaping the practice.

Key responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Delivering high quality client engagements to assess and improve financial crime systems and controls, advising on AML, sanctions, ABC etc
  • Actively pursuing business development initiatives
  • Managing multiple projects and workstreams
  • Keeping abreast of regulatory changes
  • Leading and developing others in the team
  • Developing thought leadership, representing the firm at networking events, leading events and webinars

Experience required:

  • A seasoned financial crime professional within consultancy is essential. In house experience will be considered, as long as you have held a considerable senior role within consultancy too.
  • Demonstrable business development and client management
  • Ability to advise across more than one financial services sector
  • Leadership and communication/ interpersonal skills
  • Nice to have: relevant qualifications e.g. ICA, CAMS
