As an Associate Director in EICA Engineering, you will play a crucial role in business development and engineering on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities on iconic projects domestically and internationally.
We specialise in instrumentation and control/automation across sectors like Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We deliver industry-leading solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. Opportunities are available in our Birmingham, Surrey, and Bristol offices, with consideration for other locations.
Your Purpose:
- Lead teams undertaking technical design work following relevant standards and quality levels.
- Define project briefs, scopes, and contribute to bid proposals.
- Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Establish quality assurance standards in design.
- Develop and manage ICA engineering capabilities within the practice.
What you can bring:
- Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.
- Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Deep knowledge of ICA design (instrumentation, PLC, SCADA), motor control, system architecture, communication networks, P&ID's, ATEX practices, functional safety, control specifications (URS/FDS), schedules, and system requirements in process/industrial environments.
- Expertise in UK design standards, practices, and guidance.
