Associate Director - Civil Engineering
Naas

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Director - Civil Engineering to join a well-established engineering consultancy in Naas. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of major civil infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on active travel, road and highway upgrades, and linear infrastructure projects.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious senior professional to take on a leadership position, develop client relationships and build and grow a team within an expanding infrastructure division. The successful Associate Director will combine strong technical expertise with project management, commercial awareness and the ability to lead and mentor a growing team of engineers.

Projects
  • Active Travel and sustainable transport infrastructure
  • Road and highway upgrades and improvement schemes
  • Linear infrastructure and transport corridor projects
Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects from feasibility through to detailed design and construction.
  • Develop and grow a team of civil engineers, providing technical leadership, mentoring and career development.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the continued growth of the infrastructure division.
Requirements
  • Level 8 or Level 9 degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Strong technical background in active travel, road and highway upgrades, or linear infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience managing projects, budgets, programmes and client relationships.
  • Previous experience leading, mentoring or developing engineering teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Chartered Engineer status, or working towards chartership, would be advantageous.
