Summary of Role & Key ResponsibilitiesSummary of Role
Anthesis is seeking highly motivated candidates to join our Human Rights team based in London. We are a fast-growing team and are looking for resourceful, diligent and proactive candidates who are able to start immediately without the need to relocate to the UK.
The successful candidate will be a graduate with at least 3 years' relevant work experience who is looking to further their career in human rights. The position offered will depend on the candidate's prior experience in a field relevant to the role.
Candidates must have fluency in English. Working proficiency in an additional language, such as French, Spanish, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, Hindi or Urdu is a plus.

Hiring Process:
1st Stage: Screening Interview with Talent Acquisition
2nd Stage: Written Test
Final Stage: In-person interview including short presentation

Key Responsibilities- Lead human rights impact and risk assessments, human rights investigations, human rights due diligence and other human rights-related research.
- Conduct semi-structured interviews with human rights experts and impacted rightsholders, and in-depth open source research.
- Write concise, cogent summary reports; present findings to clients and assist on implementation plans.
- Lead, coordinate and support team members to conduct site visits around the world.
- Engage with companies, policymakers, NGOs, journalists and other members of civil society on business & human rights issues.
- Design proposals and pitch business & human rights projects to potential clients.
Key Requirements
- 3+ years of postgraduate work experience in a relevant field;
- A demonstrable understanding of the business & human rights landscape, derived from engaging with businesses and/or civil society/rightsholders;
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited university.
The strongest candidates will also have:
- Experience working as a consultant for companies and/or investors on business & human rights;
- Field experience carrying out on-the-ground human rights research;
- Experience as a project manager overseeing multiple workstreams;
- Experience line managing junior staff.
Candidates should also have demonstrable skills in the following areas:
- Impeccable English-language writing skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Time management skills: ability to prioritize multiple competing projects under tight deadlines;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Professional proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite;
- Proactivity and resourcefulness;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in all areas of work;
- Respond well to feedback.
